About the role
We're looking for a dedicated production artist who takes pride in providing clarity and consistency in their work. You will be briefed, art-directed, and work closely with our designers and directors to prepare and finalize visual assets for print and digital media.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and adherence to established and evolving wayfinding system guidelines.
Your primary role will be to uphold and evolve the standards of an innovative, world-class airport wayfinding design system, applied to a range of bespoke products and diverse environments.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, layout, and artwork production
Create production ready artworks for print and digital products
Develop layouts, design presentations, and message schedules
Interpret and apply internal design systems and guidelines
Work through problems and inconsistencies with practical, grounded solutions
Collaborate with design teams, architects, and fabricators to ensure design integrity
Maintain documentation and contribute to evolving design standards
Manage and organize project files efficiently

Salary range of $65 – $100k, tailored to experience
37.5 hour working week (minimum)
15 days annual leave + 1 additional day for every year to a maximum of 20 days

We are looking for
3+ years of work-experience in artwork production
Experience in successfully working with third-party suppliers and being the quality gatekeeper for the output of our production artwork
Detail oriented and strong communicator who takes pride in your work
Strong understanding of design systems and information design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), MS Office, and Miro
Comfortable receiving briefs and art direction from designers at all levels
Able to self-manage in a stable, impactful role
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Nice to have
Experience in artwork production for wayfinding or branding applications
